Join us for a work in progress sharing of Rising Voices at Dance Ireland, followed by a Q&A.

Rising Voices is a new contemporary dance piece with three dancers under the artistic direction of Tipperary Dance Artistic Director Alexandre Iseli.

Rising Voices combines creation with the professionalisation of young dancers. The work is driven by the urge to ‘give people a voice’, embracing the voice as both the vehicle and the content of expressive forms, the activator and reflector of bodily states. This is an emotionally engaging artwork that expresses the unique beauty of each individual voice, from its initial bodily vibration to its intellectual and social expression.
