BA Fine Art (Photo, Film & Video) (2019-Present) QQI Level 6: Advanced Photography (Distinction). Shane Vaughan is an experimental artist working with photo, video, sound and writing. He is currently in his final year at the Limerick School of Art and Design.
Shane is our go-to videast whether we want to create trailers, document an event, or include creative video in our artistic work.
He has worked as an artist, a teacher, videography, editor, and events organiser. Through the poetry and art event Stanzas he held over sixty events and ran several annual festivals (2015-2019).
He has created videos for numerous artists and arts organisations, including Dance Limerick, Iseli-Chiodi Dance Company, Tipperary Dance, Luke Murphy, Sing Ireland, Helium Arts, Fresh Film Festival, Opera Workshop, Irish Chamber Orchestra, RTE Orchestras, Scottish Recorder Orchestra and the Arts Council Ireland. His written work has been published online and in print. His photography and videography have been exhibited nationally and internationally, most recently at Noorderlicht Photo Festival (2020) and the Cork Indie Film Festival (2020).
