SPLASH Lab brings together local, national and international artists to spark collaboration, movement and new ideas.

This year’s SPLASH Lab, which forms part of Clonmel Junction Arts Festival, will be led by artists Alexandre Iseli, Mary Nunan, Siobhán Ní Dhuinnín, and Murielle Elizéon. We are delighted to welcome participants from from Ireland, Germany, and Spain.

As part of our ongoing international partnerships, we are pleased to host Pepe Lolo at SPLASH Lab and in residency, in collaboration with La Caldera, Barcelona. This engagement forms part of the SPLASH International Programme, supported by Becas Barcelona Crea – Fàbriques de Creació 2025 through La Caldera’s Programme for Mobility and Internationalisation.

We also welcome Stephan Herwig and Ben Meerwein from Tanztendenz, Munich, as part of our exchange with the German dance network.

In collaboration with Tipperary Arts Hub, we are joined by two Tipperary-based artists in this year’s lab: composer and music performer Sam Barker, and visual artist and performer Austin McQuinn.
