Monsters will be performed in eight schools across County Tipperary. You can catch a performance of the piece at the Festival's All Day Do Dance event at Nenagh Arts Centre.
The Festival’s Dance in Schools programme is a celebration of our year-round intergenerational programme Tipperary Dance Connecting Communities. Dance in Schools takes place throughout Tipperary County to offer rich interactions between children and artists to experience in playful, yet meaningful ways, the art of dance. This year, children in primary schools will have the opportunity to take part in workshops and see the duo Monsters, created by choreographers and dancers Mateusz Szczerek and Alessio Motta.
Join us on an enchanting journey where imagination meets reality in Monsters, a captivating dance performance for children.
Through lively choreography and vibrant storytelling, this piece explores the world of monsters, fables and fears. Can humans and monsters learn to overcome their fears and dance together in harmony?
Filled with humour, heart, and a sprinkle of magic, Monsters teaches us that friendship can be found in the most unexpected places.
