We are welcoming Sarah Baltzinger and Isaiah Wilson for a two weeks residency to develop their project MEGASTRUCTURE. This will lead to a presentation of the work-in-progress at Tipperary Dance International Festival 2022.

This residency will serve as a first movement research in order to find a choreographic movement signature between Isaiah Wilson & Sarah Baltzinger. MEGASTRUCTURE is a concept that opens the door to multiple choreographic objects, which take the form of capsules and episodes, like a choreographic series that seizes on the myth of “the couple” and addresses the complexity of intimate relationships. Through a brutally honest and transparent introspection, MEGASTRUCTURE seeks by all means to flee the alienation from the modern world which dispossesses love of its substance, in order to create an intimate space between two beings.
