Lucy has been part of the Tipperary Dance team as a videographer and video editor. She has also collaborated artistically with Jazmín Chiodi and Alexandre Iseli on the creation of the piece Turnstile, and on the Tipperary Dance screendance productin Tribe.
Lucy Dawson is a dance artist, film maker & teacher based in Limerick, Ireland. She is a tutor of video recording and editing skills, improvisation, choreography skills and yoga for BA, MA & PhD students at the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance, Limerick. Lucy combines her movement and improvisation practice with videography and photography, specializing in performance documentation, artistic promotion, choreography for camera and improvised performance. Contemporary dance training includes, The Scottish School of Contemporary Dance, Dundee and The Northern School of Contemporary Dance, Leeds and the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance, Limerick. Previous projects range from dance works to site-specific projects, plays, music videos, adverts, musicals, and films.
