Alexandra is a movement artist who works currently as a freelancer in Germany. She graduated from London Contemporary Dance School with a Bachelor degree. As part of her education she had the opportunity to perform work by Richard Alston, Saju Hari, Leila McMillan and marikiscrycrycry. After finishing her education she performed at Haus der Kunst in Munich for Franz Erhard Walther, at Villa Stuck Munich for Lee Mingweii and at the River Thames Festival in London.
Next to live performing she worked with the director Masha Mollenhauer on several video and photography projects as a performer as well as in the position of a movement director.
Alexandra had the opportunity to explore different settings such as exhibition spaces and installation performances. Interdisciplinary work was always one of the strongest interests where she can mix her influences of fine art, fashion, painting, photography and screen dance. She uses her influences for her own choreography as well as when being a performer. Especially in the pandemic her love for paining and writing flourished. By facilitating an open creative writing session she explores how text can be included in her work with an international group of artists. Together they work on different writing tasks for one hour and share their results with each other.
In 2021 she joined the theatre collective Futur.X in Munich which premiered a new production in November 2022 at HochX theatre in Munich.
\In 2022 she was a scholarship holder of ATLAS program at ImpulsTanz festival in Vienna and continued to develop her own choreographic voice.
In 2023 she focused on her research of rituals and transformation in connection which her interested in light and costume design.
