APEX_the highest point: performances in schools

by Magdalena Hylak and Lionel Kasparian

A series of six performances in secondary schools across County Tipperary

Commissioned by Tipperary Dance, APEX_the highest point is a dance piece for teenagers by dance artist and choreographer Magdalena Hylak with composer Lionel Kasparian.

What is it like to perceive the world through extremes? APEX_the highest point is a dance piece for young audiences that explores their very particular way of experiencing the world, with often magnified sensations and feelings. The show plays with highly physical movements, noises and loudness, giving teenagers the opportunity to meet dance and music in their own territory.
