Laura Arend showcases the outcome of her creation residency at Tipperary Dance.
'The residency at Tipperary is our first step into a new creation. The Amazons and the feminist movement share a quest for gender equality, facing resistance in their struggles against patriarchal norms. This comparison underscores how the fight for equality and emancipation transcends time and culture, urging us to challenge gender norms for a more equitable world. This duet delves into our connection with the female body, examining the empowerment that contraception brings.' Laura Arend.
