Performer, musician, choreographer, Thierry Mabon took part in Tipperary Dance International Festival 2023 alongside Marie Lenfant.
In 2022, Thierry and Marie invite Alexandre Iseli, director of Tipperary Dance, to participate in M.E.R.C.I., An international encounter gathering choreographer from several continents and musicians from the city of Le Mans, embarking them on a creative encounter among artists and with the local community.
Thierry Mabon is a musician and atypical dancer, trained on the ground and having practiced Kung Fu (Wing Shun) for several years. He has been a performer since 1992, when he joined the Compagnie Marie Lenfant.
He has participated since then in all of the choreographer’s creations and has been her assistant since 1995 in the outreach work of the company. He co-wrote [S U R] F A C E S with her in 2015.
During his career, he has performed with several companies: Cie Sonia Vidal under the artistic guidance of Hervé Diasnas, Benjamin Juhel (video/dance), Cie NBA Spectacles, the Allogene collective, Cie F 521.I… He has also participated in several video clips (Tue Loup, Cyesm, Lola Baï, Clelia Véga). Five pieces have been created: Un samedi Soir Ordinaire (1997), La Bouzine (1999), Tout Ce Qui Résiste (2001), Bombilla (2006), Fear Mambo (2011), FI.SH (2018).

He is also the author, composer and performer (vocals/guitar) of the post-punk band Powell (2003>2010) and Plaisir (2011>2015). He also collaborates in other musical projects ([Drive In] Static Motion, Clélia Véga, AMoCHé…) as well as in improvisation sessions.
He is also a music columnist for the webzine Mowno since 2010.
