Francesca Foscarini is a dancer, choreographer and teacher. These three ways of practicing dance feed and influence each other and are united by exploration and research, aimed at creating freedom, playfulness, suspension, putting the body, with its infinite expressive possibilities, at the service of an idea or simply a feeling.
Her work as an author, which began in 2009, has received important awards: Premio Mas Danza 2012, Premio Equilibrio per l’interprete 2013, Dancer of the Year on the contemporary scene 2015, Premio Danza&Danza 2018. Significant professional collaborations with Y. Godder, S. Wiktorowicz, A. Sciarroni, R. Castello and with the Jennifer Rosa Collective. In 2016 she met writer Cosimo Lopalco with whom she established a long artistic collaboration.
